Description
Spreading shrub or small tree up to 2 m high, deciduous to semi-deciduous. Young branches maroon. Leaves feathery, twice-compound. Flowers very attractive, carried in sprays at branch tips; petals bright yellow with ten prominently protruding, long, red stamens. Pods densely covered in short, reddish, glandular hairs.
Discussion
Easily grown garden plant that has escaped into dry rivers.
