The status and distribution of Oxpeckers (Aves: Buphaginae) in the Kavango and Caprivi, SWA/Namibia.

Summary / Notes:

Redbilled is dominant in Kavango, yellowbilled in Caprivi. Main host throughout is cattle. The status and distribution of oxpeckers in the Okavango and Caprivi are presented The Red - billed Oxpecker is the predominant species in the Kavango In the Caprivi the Yellow - billed Oxpecker is predominant along the river courses and in the floodplains.
